After I graduated on March 2011, I thought of having a vacation in Boracay, Camiguin Island, and even going overseas. Hahaha.. that’s just what I thought of.. I don’t even have money to treat myself for that.. So instead, I went back to my home town in Barobo, Surigao del Sur on July.

For almost a month I stayed at home everyday. Sleep, eat, watch TV then sleep again. Fortunately, one of my friend who is working at our barangay health center have their get-together and invited me to go with them. And so we rode in a Montero car for 1 and half hours.

Tinuy-an Falls is a waterfall in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur located at the southeastern coast of Mindanao facing the Pacific Ocean, Bislig is 158 kms south of Butuan, 152 kms south of Tandag City – the capital of Surigao del Sur, and 208 kilometers northeast of Davao City.

I’ve been living almost all of my life in the province of Surigao del Sur but never did tour around it. Never did i expect something like this looks so amazing and i can be proud of. This was my first time to see a falls this high and was stunned for how majestic this falls is. I was speechless. Or, maybe no!!! LOL. I can’t stop saying WOW!!!

The falls is approximately 55 metres (180 ft) high, and said to be the Niagara Falls of the Philippines. Tinuy-an is a white water curtain that flows in three levels and is said to be one of the widest waterfalls in the Philippines.

Besides enjoying the view, you can enjoy swimming and rent a bamboo raft that would take you towards the falls. And free shower massage under the falling waters of Tinuy-an Falls.

Lucky me, lucky us. We are 1 and half hours away from this beautiful falls. But even those who are from other parts of Mindanao, Visayas, Luzon and even from other country put effort just to visit this paradise…

I dreamed of having Diana F+…

while searching for who-to-follow in my newly-created tumblr blog, i went to the vintage category…. i really love vintage stuffs…

pictures there and everywhere of famous celebrities, landscapes, and all things old… then i encountered lomography… i suddenly had an interest of it and googled it…
